Meet Our Staff

Dr. Sheffield

Dr. Sheffield was born is Sanford Florida. He obtained his undergraduate education at the University of Florida. His undergraduate interests were Animal Science and Pharmacology. In 1982 Dr. Sheffield graduated from the College of Veterinary Medicine in Gainesville Florida. Dr. Sheffield prides himself with keeping current, by attending conventions and maintaing an extensive library.

His wife is also a Veterinarian who is currently the staff Neurosurgeon at the Melbourne Veterinary Emergency Clinic. His pets include a dog named Jax, a siamese cat named PG13 and a tortoise named Cujo. Dr. Sheffield is a member of the AVMA, FVMA and past President of the Volusia-Flagler Veterinary Medical Association.

Dawn Dickens

Dawn Dickens has been overseeing all of the necessary requirments for our boarding visitors for over 7 years, as well as handling reception needs. She has 3 boxers and 2 cats at home. When not here tending to a variety of tasks she enjoys spending time with her husband and son working in the yard and around her home.
